Role Overview:

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the design and development of power distribution equipment. This role will focus on implementing electrical designs while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

key Responsibilities:
  • Design electrical systems for power distribution equipment.
  • Create one-line diagrams and control schematics.
  • Support manufacturing with technical documentation.
  • Perform electrical calculations.
  • Participate in design reviews.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design and development of low voltage power distribution equipment. This role will focus on creating detailed mechanical designs while ensuring manufacturability and compliance with industry standards.

key Responsibilities:
  • Create mechanical designs for switchgear and power distribution equipment.
  • Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings.
  • Perform mechanical calculations and analysis.
  • Support manufacturing with technical documentation.
  • Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Sr. Automation Engineer

Location:

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to develop, implement, and standardize control system solutions for our switchgear and power distribution equipment. This role will lead the development of control system architectures, programming standards, and testing procedures while mentoring junior engineers.

key Responsibilities:
  • Lead development of standardized control solutions for power distribution configurations including:
    • Generator paralleling systems.
    • Multiple source systems (Main-Gen, Main-Tie-Main, etc.).
    • Load-shedding applications.
    • Peak shaving systems.
  • Create and maintain programming standards for various controller platforms:
    • ComAp controllers.
    • Schneider Electric PLCs.
    • Siemens S7 series.
    • Allen-Bradley CompactLogix/ControlLogix.
  • Develop comprehensive sequences of operations for complex power systems.
  • Design and implement HMI solutions using various platforms (FactoryTalk, WinCC, Citect).
  • Create and maintain testing procedures and testing cart designs for factory acceptance testing.
  • Lead technical discussions with customers regarding control system requirements.
  • Mentor junior engineers on control system design and programming best practices.
  • Develop standard application libraries and documentation.
  • Troubleshoot complex control system issues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field - 8+ years of experience in industrial automation with focus on power systems.
  • Expert-level knowledge of at least two major PLC platforms:
    • Allen Bradley RSLogix/Studio 5000.
    • Siemens TIA Portal.
    • Schneider Electric Unity Pro/Control Expert.
  • Proven experience with generator control systems (ComAp, Woodward, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of power distribution systems and electrical theory.
  • Experience developing sequences of operations for complex systems.
  • Proficiency in HMI/SCADA development.
  • Experience with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profinet).
  • Strong project management and team leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with UL 891/1558 standards.
  • Knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) requirements for control systems.
  • Experience with Version Control Systems.
  • Background in switchgear/switchboard manufacturing.
  • Experience with automated testing systems.
  • Python or other scripting language proficiency.
Key Projects Will Include:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the mechanical design of switchgear and power distribution equipment. This role will focus on developing innovative solutions while maintaining compliance with industry standards.

key Responsibilities:
  • Lead mechanical design projects for low switchgear/switchboard systems.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the design team.
  • Ensure compliance with UL standards (UL 891/1558) and other relevant codes.
  • Develop and maintain design standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, manufacturing, Sales, and quality.
  • Review and approve mechanical designs and documentation.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 8+ years of experience in power distribution equipment design.
  • Proven experience with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, etc.).
